Troop 11712 Donates!

I am so proud of our girls.
Along with the birthday celebration supplies, they donated 30 kick balls and 30 jump ropes to the Montgomery County Women's Center. Paid for by their cookie sale profits! Afterwards, they enjoyed a well deserved trip to Culver's for some frozen custard! And speaking of a well deserved treat . . .
Kemah, here we come!

Kemah!

What a perfect day for Kemah!
The girls were ready for some fun!

I was so proud of the girls.

Even those who were a bit scared got on some rides.

The Fun!

The smiles say it all.

The Beast!

The unsuspecting group. Look at us, all smiles, not a clue what was in store.

It began so innocently . . . dancing to some great music. . .
We were so carefree . . .
having a good time doing the Macaraina

And then it started . . . just a few drops at first . . .

We didn't think anything of it . . .
Then, it happened . . . .
TIDAL WAVE!

Does our hair still look okay??

THIS was the best part of the day in my book!
What do you think, girls?

The Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday Rylee.
Rylee got to participate in the entertainment for her birthday at Joe's Crab Shack.

It was so funny because she disappeared around the corner and the waiter looked at me and asked "Is she coming back?" She did a few seconds later, after rounding out the entire restaurant with a big smile on her face!

Joe's Crab ShackAlong with our friends and families,

we enjoyed good food

and some dancing

(well, some of us just watched)
It was a great day! I am so ready for a nap!
A huge thank you to Pollyanna, Dawn and Heather for helping make this a terrific day!

Sk8 Town!

For another cookie sales reward,
our troop headed over to Sk8 Town,
for a little skating fun.
Even though we were missing a few girls,
we had a great time!

Rylee was such a trooper!
Never gave up and ended up skating around all by herself!

Everyone watched out for each other, lending a helping hand when needed!

Even Mr. Don was out on the floor!

Jayna brought along Dad (Mr. Greg) and her big sis Abrianna.

And after refueling,
It was time to do some dancing!
Of course the chicken dance is always a must!
Dawn- Daisy specifically said she had to dance since she didn't at S&S's.

Rylee, You go girl!
Then on to the Hokey Pokey!
(Ah, Daisy . . . RIGHT elbow in!)

As we got ready to leave, they started the races.
Jayna and Abrianna did their very best at the push race.
As you can see, it didn't go so well,
But we were so proud that they gave it a shot and
we had lots of fun cheering them on!

We all limped away with a smile on our faces!
Thanks Sk8 Town!
